Three Accused Arrested in Kamlesh Tiwari Murder Case

Uttar Pradesh DGP Omprakash Singh said that the strings of Kamlesh Tiwari's murder are connected to Gujarat. At the press conference on Saturday, Singh said, " Maulana Mohsin Sheikh (24), Faizan (21) and Khurshid Ahmed Pathan (23) of Surat have been detained. The three had conspired to murder. The murder has no connection with the terrorist organization". The controversial statement made by Kamlesh Tiwari to Prophet Mohammad in 2015 led to his assassination. Meanwhile, 5 suspects have been detained from Moradabad. Kamlesh, who was the national president of the Hindu Samaj Party, was killed on Friday.

The DGP said, "In view of sensitivity of the incident, instructions have been given to examine it thoroughly. For this, three teams have been sent to Gujarat, Bijnor and Bahraich". The Gujarat Police team will look at the charge sheet filed by the ATS against two IS terrorists there. The UP police is in constant touch with the DGP and ATS officers of Gujarat. "Meanwhile, Gujarat ATS DIG Himanshu Shukla said,  "The three accused had confessed to the crime".

DCP OP Singh said that Gaurav Tiwari from Surat had called Kamlesh Tiwari few days ago and said that he wants to expand the Hindu Samaj Party in Gujarat. Kamlesh called him to meet him. This conversation has also been included in the investigation of this incident.

On October 18 in Lucknow, Kamlesh was killed by the attackers. In the afternoon, two people came to meet him at the party office. they first strangled Kamlesh, then fired a pistol from the box of sweets. Kamlesh was also the leader of the Hindu Mahasabha. After the incident, activists of Hindu Samaj Party demonstrated on the streets.
