Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president and senior leaders Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar addressed the meeting of the party's minority cell on Thursday. Ekramuddin Khan was appointed as the Deputy Chairman for the Minority Cell at Pune. Party President Sharad Pawar announced it a few days ago. The chairman of the cell, Shabir Ahmed Rebel, was also present on the occasion. Earlier, in 2016-17, Ekramuddin Khan had also been the Deputy Chairman. During that time, he established better cooperation between Muslim voters and candidates.
