Rajasthan BJP President Madan Lal Saini Passes Away

Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajasthan Pradesh President Madan Lal Saini has died on Monday. He breathed his last at AIIMS in Delhi. He was made the state president before the elections of the Rajasthan assembly in 2018.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that the body of Saini will be taken to Jaipur in the night. In order to give a final view to the people, it will be kept at the BJP office by 7.30am in the morning. Then it will be taken to Sikar. The funeral will be done on Tuesday at 3 pm.

Before this, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP's National Working President, JP Nadda, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and other BJP leaders, Rajasthan BJP Chief Madan Lal Saini paid tribute to AIIMS in Delhi.

Saini was admitted to AIIMS for the last few months due to infection in the lungs. On Friday, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje had taken her recent step in reaching AIIMS.

While tweeting, the Vice President of the country, Venkaiah Naidu, condoled the passing away of BJP president Madan Lal Saini. He said, "As the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, you are closely related to people's concerns. I express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, colleagues and supporters. My humble tribute to his spirit."

PM Modi tweeted: "The death of Mr. Madanlal Saini Ji is a big loss for the BJP family. They contributed to strengthening the party in Rajasthan. He was highly respected for his innate nature and community service efforts. My thoughts are with his family and supporters. Om peace.
