Prayagraj Kumbh Mela 2019 has added its name to the Guinness Book of World Records with the largest gathering of people in one place, the largest cleaning campaign and the largest painting program at the public place. The government gave this information on Sunday. The Ministry of Culture said in a statement, for this, the three-member team of Guinness World Records visited. In his presence, such a large number of people joined the painting program held from February 28 to March 3 for four days.

According to the statement, on February 28 approximately 503 shuttle buses stayed on the highway to take these people. Many people joined this program on 1 March and 10,000 workers contributed to clean the Kumbh. In the meantime, all of them have done their duty simultaneously. The closing of the festival started on 14th January will be held on March 4 with the sixth and final Shahi bath on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. The Ministry said that more than 22 million pilgrims had plunged into Sangam in the last royal baths.
