Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation from ISRO Control Center. PM Modi gave a message to the nation from ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru. In the last phase of Chandrayaan-2, contact with the lander Vikram was lost when it was moving towards the lunar surface. Amid disappointment of this mission, PM Modi addressed the nation with ISRO to boost the morale of the country's scientists. During this time, PM Modi gave a fresh message about the Chandrayaan 2 mission.

PM Modi encouraged the scientists and said that even though there have been some obstacles in our success today, this has not weakened our strength but it has become stronger. The PM further said that even though there was a hindrance in the path of our success today, we are not deterred from our destination.

PM Modi further said that it has been a tradition and ritual to move steadily towards the goal without being disappointed by the results of our country. Encouraging the scientists, he said, 'You are not going to streak on the stone, but on the stone. Also said that if we were defeated by the initial challenges, then today ISRO would not be able to make a place in such a successful space agency of the world.
