Mamta Attacked Modi Government says Super Emergency in Last Five Years

Today's 44 anniversary of emergency Emergency was imposed on 25 June 1975 at the behest of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. This incident has been for the whole 44 years. On the occasion of Emergency, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has targeted the Modi government. Mamta Banerjee termed the first term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a Super Emergency.

Mamta Banerjee wrote that today's annulment of the Emergency declared in 1975 For the last five years, the country is going through 'Super Emergency'. We should learn lessons from our history and fight for the protection of democratic institutions in the country.

On the other hand, on the occasion of emergency, PM Modi said that the country salutes those who had opposed the Emergency fearlessly.

According to the situation is not normal between Mamta Banerjee and Bharatiya Janata Party Mamta Banerjee has not even gone to the recent all-party meetings convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Not only this, Mamta did not attend the new government's swearing-in ceremony nor did it participate in the Policy Commission meeting on June 15.

On June 25, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared an Emergency in the country for 21 months from 1975 to 1977. Under Article 352 of the Constitution, the emergency was imposed by President Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed.
