Former Finance Minister and senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram will appear in the Delhi court on Monday in the INX Media case. During the hearing, it will be decided on Monday whether P. Chidambaram will remain in the custody of Enforcement Directorate. Actually, the court has issued a production warrant against the former finance minister in this case.

According to the information received, P. Chidambaram will be produced in Rouse Avenue court at 3 pm on Monday. During the hearing, on the plea of ​​the Enforcement Directorate, the court will decide whether to send the accused Chidambaram to the ED custody or not.

INX Media case, former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram was arrested on August 21. He was produced before the court on 3 October, from where the court extended the custody of P. Chidambaram to 17 October during the hearing. Significantly, a special court in Delhi has ordered to appear before the ED on Monday, 14 October. Regarding this, the court has issued a production against P Chidambaram on the ED's plea.

In fact, the ED had filed a petition in the court saying that it needed a production warrant, as P. Chidambaram, accused in the INX Media case, needed to be detained and questioned.

In Aircel Maxis, P. Chidambaram and his son Karti Chidambaram have got anticipatory bail from the court, while both ED and CBI have filed petitions against it.
