Huawei Brushes off the Rumors Regarding Halting its Smartphone Production

A few days back it was affirmed that Huawei has stopped manufacturing phones after the US ban but the company came ahead and denied all such reports and said that they refute such reports and such claims hold no truth to them whatsoever.

The company issued a statement saying, "Recent media reports are propagating a rumor that Huawei is cutting back production of smartphones in response to its placement on the US Commerce Department's entity list.  Huawei refutes these claims. Our global production levels are normal, with no notable adjustments in either direction."

Foxconn, the Taiwanese the manufacturer has halted its lines for many phones of Huawei and according to the South China Morning Post, Huawei has decreased the number of new phones due to the ongoing ban imposed by the US.

Huawei had set the goal to pass Samsung as the World's Largest Smartphone maker by 2020. However, the ongoing cold war between the two nations has hindered this dream of the Chinese company.

"As the new situation has emerged, it is too early to say whether we are able to achieve the goal,"  the president of honor said in a statement.
