Google Server Trouble snarls YouTube, Snapchat

Crowded Google servers in the eastern United States on Sunday created problems for users of Snapchat and YouTube, which had complaints on social media that popular apps were not accessible. Google acknowledged this issue, in a statement on its Cloud Platform Status page, that it "was dealing with a crowd of high-level networks in the Eastern American, which affected many services in Google Cloud, G Suites and YouTube was doing." They said, "Users can see mistakes by slow or stop-stop," saying that the engineers had completed the first two steps to restore normal operation.

Earlier in the day, social media users complained about the difficulty of loading sleeves of popular websites and applications.

"Google, YouTube, Snapchat, Shopify, all are currently down. Is the Internet melting?" Asked a twitter post.

Both Snapchat and Google-owned YouTube accepted the server's problem on its Twitter account.

Cloud computing is one of Google's most attractive services, but it has to face tough competition from other technology companies like Amazon and Microsoft.

In March, the world's largest social network, Facebook blamed "server configuration change" for a large outage affecting its applications worldwide.

A tracking website had said at that time that users are affected for at least 12 hours in most areas of the world, which is the biggest influence in North America and Europe.
