Whenever Prime Minister Narendra Modi goes on an official visit to a place in any country or India, he gets a gift from there. The more than 2700 gifts that PM Modi has received so far will be auctioned. Culture minister Prahlad Patel has given this information. He said that about 2,772 gifts received by PM Modi will be auctioned online.

The minister said that the minimum value of momentoes is Rs 200 and the highest is Rs 2.5 lakh. The auction, which began in January this year, sold more than 1,800 gifts received by the Prime Minister.

Up to five lakh gifts were also auctioned in January

During the auction held in January, a painting gifted to PM Modi and a replica of a wooden bike was auctioned for Rs five lakh each. The auction then ran for two days. 270 of the 1900 items were auctioned on the day the auction was on its last day.

During that auction, PM Modi got a painting of Lord Shiva which was worth 5 thousand rupees. It was auctioned for 10 lakhs. A silver urn with a minimum price of Rs 10 thousand was auctioned for Rs 6 lakh. Many souvenirs were auctioned at a price several times higher than their minimum price.
