In his statement, he said that the capital faces the greatest threat of the Bush Fire since the devastating fire of 2003.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Barr said, 'More heat, wind and a dry land have put the suburbs south of Canberra in danger. This fire can be very unpredictable. It can be uncontrollable.
