Finance Minister will Hold Meetings with Industry leaders to Speed up the Economy

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to hold several meetings this week to stop the decline in the pace of the Indian economy from previous quarters. Finance Secretary Rajiv Kumar gave this information on Monday.

In this series of meetings, the Finance Minister will be the first to meet with the representatives of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) on Tuesday. The sector has 6.34 crore units across the country. At the same time, there are about 12 crore workers in this sector and they contribute 20 percent to the country's GDP. Let us know that there is a 45 per cent share in the total export of MSME sector in India.

After this, Nirmala Sitharaman will meet with the Business Leaders of Automobile Sector on August 7. Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will also participate in this meeting. Due to lack of sales, there have been about 2 lakh jobs in automobile dealerships for the past three months. In passenger vehicles, there is a considerable decrease in sales in last one year. Automobile component manufacturers of India (ACMA) have warned that if the situation does not improve, there will be about one million jobs from the auto sector.

After this, the Finance Minister will meet with the organizations of the industry on 8th August. A day after this, the finance minister will meet with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the heads of the finance market of Mutual Fund Houses. After this, on August 11, Nirmala Sitharaman will hold a meeting with representatives of real estate industry and home buyers. In all these meetings, Union ministers of the concerned sectors will also participate.
