Facebook spent 22.6 million dollars (about 156 million rupees) in 2018 for the security of its CEO Mark Zuckerberg. This is more than double the previous year. Let's say that about $ 9 million was spent on the security of Zuckerberg that year.

Apart from this, Zuckerberg was given 2.6 million dollars from the company for his personal private jets. Facebook has given this information on Friday.

The company said that this was also a part of their security, so this amount has also been added to their security expenditure. The funny thing is that for the past three years, Zuckerberg is taking barely a dollar base salary.

The company's Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg received $ 23.7 million in the year 2018, compared to $ 25.2 million in 2017. Apart from this, it was also informed from the company that Netflix Chief Executive Officer Reid Hastings will leave his seat on the board of the Social Media Company and will not enroll for the election again.

Facebook has given this information at a time when it has been accused of role in influencing US presidential elections in 2016 in Russia. Apart from this, Facebook was criticized for leaking personal data from many users on behalf of previous Cambridge Analytics.
