Expert panel will be Setup to Examine Players’ Injury before Olympics

Indian Olympic association will set up a three-member panel to examine injuries of players before Olympics.  Last time Injured Saina Nehwal, Yogeshwar Dutt took part in the Rio Olympics. This panel will be setup so that such events will not repeated during the Tokyo Olympics 2020. This panel will allow injured players to play only after examining them. In addition to the women's and men's hockey teams for Tokyo, 26 players have achieved quota so far. This number will increase further next year. To get maximum quota, a panel of experts is being formed, which will include Sports scientists, sports medicine specialists and physiotherapists. When any player gets injured, the panel will keep an eye on them while going to rehab.

The panel will look at the player's medical report to see if the player has selected the right doctor and hospital, as well as whether he has spent the entire time in rehabilitation. Somewhere the players will not going to play without recovering from injury.
