International Tennis Federation (ITF) has ended the suspense of venue for India vs Pakistan Davis cup tie. Nur Sultan, capital of Kazakhstan will host this tournament. The independent tribunal of the ITF confirmed the decision taken by the Davis Cup committee that the match should be played at a neutral venue. Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) had appealed against the decision and said that if Indian pilgrims can travel Pakistan without any security then, why Indian team cannot play in Islamabad.

AITA CEO Akhuri Vishwadeep said, "ITF has told us that the competition will take place in Nur Sultan. We do not know whether the PTF's appeal was dismissed. In the late night information we were told about the new venue".

Tournament will be held on November 29-30. It was scheduled to held in September in Islamabad but due to security reasons India demanded to relocate this tournament. India had announced its strong team but top players of Indian team refused to play in Pakistan. The Indian team will be led by Sumit Nagal and Ramkumar Ramanathan, while Leander Paes and Jeevan Neduchezhiyan will play doubles. Rohan Bopanna has withdrawn due to a shoulder injury.
