Congress Leader DK Shivkumar Arrives in Delhi HC for Bail

Karnataka Congress leader DK Shivakumar, accused in the Money laundering case, has moved the Delhi High Court for bail. In this hearing on Monday, the court has issued a notice to the Enforcement Directorate to respond.

In the hearing held on Monday, Judge Suresh Kumar has asked the ED to appear with the status report, which will be heard on October 14.

In the hearing held earlier, the trial court rejected his bail plea. He had argued in the trial court of poor health, which did not work. During the hearing, the Enforcement Directorate had said that even though Sivakumar has given income tax, his property has not become untainted. This crime has deep roots and has damaged the economy. This matter should be dealt with strictly.
