Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand is on its last leg. The journey to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri Dhami continued on Wednesday. On the other hand, in Yamunotridham, in twenty-five days, more than ten thousand devotees have offered prayers and have Darshan of Mother Yamuna. These include more than three thousand women and more than five hundred children. Right now only three weeks are left for the doors of the Dham to be closed for the winter.

Closing of the doors will be decided on Dussehra

This year the doors of Kedarnath Dham were opened on 17th May, Lord Badri Vishal's doors were opened on 18th May, and Shri Gangotri Dham and Yamunotri Dham on 14th May 2021. The date and time of closing of the doors of the major Char Dhams of the state are determined by observing the Panchag on the day of Dussehra. By the way, every year the doors of Chardham are closed around Bhaiya Dooj.
