‘Black Day’ after 6 Months of Agitation, Farmers said – Govt wants to Remove us by Showing Fear of Corona

New Delhi: Six months of the Farmer Protest were completed on Wednesday in protest against the agricultural laws. Farmers are celebrating Black Day today. Where the farmer is, they have been protesting by showing the black flag. Farmers are celebrating Black Day by raising black flags and protesting against the government. Farmers have been protesting against the agricultural laws on the borders of Delhi for the last 6 months. The farmers demand that the central government withdraw all three agricultural laws.

On the other hand, farmers are celebrating the black day by showing a black flag against agriculture law on the Singhu border. Farmers say that the government wants to remove them by showing fear of corona.

Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson and farmer leader of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, said, "We are opposed to the government. We have also taken the Tricolor in hand, the government also says why the tricolor was taken in hand. It has been 6 months for the government."

On the other hand, Punjab's main opposition party Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced its support for the farmers' protest against the new agricultural laws of the Center to celebrate May 26 as' Black Day '. According to news agency PTI-language, AAP MLA and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Harpal Singh Cheema appealed to the Center to repeal three new agricultural laws.

Cheema accused the BJP-led government of forcibly imposing these laws on the farming community. "The central government should not insist on imposing such black laws in the country," he said in a statement issued here.

Farmers' organizations have called for 26 May to celebrate 'Black Day' on the completion of six months of their agitation against the agricultural laws of the Center. Farmers have been camping on the borders of Delhi since November last year and are demanding the withdrawal of three new agricultural laws. The United Kissan Morcha, representing more than forty farmers' organizations, wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, requesting the resumption of the dialogue.
