Bhumata Brigade's Trupti Desai and other activists were arrested on Wednesday near the residence of Chief Minister of Hyderabad Chandrashekhar Rao. In fact, the Bhumata brigade was going to protest near the Chief Minister's residence in Hyderabad over the incident of rape and murder of a doctor, when the Hyderabad Police arrested the activists of the organization.

Bhumata Brigade's Trupti Desai says that the Chief Minister of State finds it appropriate to attend weddings and he has time for this but does not have time to meet the victim's family. That is why we decided to hold a demonstration outside the Chief Minister's residence.

The 'Bhumata Brigade' is an organization that raises voice against injustice and corruption with women and demands justice. This came into the limelight after opposing the ban on women for entry into the Shiganapur Shani temple in Aurangabad.
