Ajit Pawar Becomes Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra

The oath-taking ceremony of the ministers of the cabinet has begun in Maharashtra. Nationalist Congress Party leader Nawab Malik, Congress leader Ashok Chavan sworn in as cabinet ministers. Ashok Chavan is the son of former CM of the state Shankar Rao Chavan. After Ashok Chavan, Dhananjay Munde was also sworn in as a minister. Dhananjay Munde is the nephew of BJP leader Gopinath Munde. He has also been the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

Ajit Pawar was first sworn in as a minister. Ajit Pawar had earlier sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister (Maharashtra) to form the government with BJP, now he has assumed the post of Deputy Chief Minister in Uddhav government from NCP quota. In Maharashtra, Abdul Sattar, Bunty Patil, Shambhuraj Desai, Bachchu Kadu, Vishwajeet Kadam, Dattatreya Bharane Aditi Tatkare, Sanjay Bansonde, Pranak Tanapura Rajendra Patil will take oath as MLAs.

A total of 36 ministers are to take oath today in Maharashtra out of which 25 will be cabinet ministers, while 10 will be ministers of state. Ajit Pawar will take oath as Deputy Chief Minister. The list of cabinet ministers includes the names of Aditya Thackeray, Nawab Malik, Dhananjay Munde.

According to the information received, Aditya Thackeray's appointment with the Shiv Sena is almost certain. Aditya Thackeray has contested for the first time and won from Worli. Apart from this, the possibility of joining the Shiv Sena's Uday Samant, Abdul Sattar, Shankar Gadakh, Anil Parab, Sandipan Bhumre, Shambhuraj Desai, Yedgaukar, Sanjay Rathod, Gulab Patil, Dada Straw.

The Maharashtra cabinet is expanding on the basis of regional and ethnic equations. It has been tried that all regions of Maharashtra get equal representation in the cabinet. According to the information received, 36 new ministers can be included in the Uddhav Thackeray cabinet. In view of this, quota of Marathas, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, OBCs and minority class have been fixed on the basis of Vidarbha, Marathwada, Western Maharashtra, Konkan and Mumbai.
