Rap god Eminem's offended dad, Marshall Bruce Mathers, has passed on. He was 67. Mathers, who passed by the name Bruce, allegedly died in  Indiana after a heart attack at his home, detailed TMZ.

The accurate reason for death stays vague.

Eminem, whose genuine name is Marshall Mathers III, had a well-recorded, grieved history with his dad, whom the rapper has said he never met.

The Grammy-winning artiste's hit tracks "My Name Is" and "Cleanin' Out My Closet" was motivated by their relationship.

As per Debbie Nelson, Eminem's mom, she and Bruce isolated not long after the singer's  introduction to the world in 1972.

The mother-child pair settled in Detroit with her family while Bruce moved to California where he had two different children.

Eminem has said in meetings, as a youngster, he composed letters to his dad however they generally returned "return to sender".

In 2001, Bruce distributed a letter on a newspaper to Eminem in a paper clarifying his side of the story, that Debbie didn't let the dad child reconnect.
