According to reports, WhatsApp is testing an automated album function on Windows beta. This functionality, which is already available on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS, would let users classify consecutive photos and videos sent over the chat window.

When a user sends or receives more than three photographs or videos in a row, WhatsApp automatically organizes them into an album to save scroll space. Users would be able to see the whole collection simply touching on the album. The functionality will be available in the Meta-owned instant messaging app's Universal Windows Platform (UWP) edition.

According to the report, if users receive more than three photographs or videos in a row, they may touch on the automated album to browse its whole collection when using the UWP version of the program. A screenshot of the automated album functionality is included in the report.

Users who have installed the most recent version of the Windows beta app from the Microsoft Store have access to this feature. However, this feature is already available in the WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS.
