Vodafone has made a big change in the Red Basic postpaid plan of Rs 399. Under this change, now the plan will not get the benefit of free Amazon Prime Membership. Vodafone had earlier offered Prime Membership worth Rs 999 in partnership with Amazon India. This offer was being offered to customers in plans with a value of Rs 399 and above. According to a report, these steps are being taken by the company with the objective of recovering the user (ARPU) on the decreasing average revenue.

According to the report of TelecomTalk, the entry level plans by Vodafone are not changing the plans but the company is changing the free offers. By removing the Amazon Prime Membership, the company is pushing its subscribers towards plans of Rs 499 and above. Amazon Prime Membership is still being given for one year in plans with a value of Rs 499 and above.

Red Postpaid plan is offered by Vodafone for Rs 399. Now only Vodafone Play will be given in this plan. Its price is 499 rupees for a year. In addition, there is a complimentary mobile insurance of Rs 999. Apart from this, ZEE5 subscription worth Rs 999 is also given to customers in this plan.

However, if Vodafone customers still want Amazon Prime Membership for free, then they can select Vodafone 499 rupees plan. In this plan of 499 rupees, customers are given 75GB data with 200GB data rollover. That is, 40GB data is given more in this plan than the plan of Rs 399.
