WhatsApp dark mode is being tested and three options have been given. There will be an auto dark mode option under which if you use dark mode in Android smartphone, WhatsApp will also go into dark mode by itself.

If we talk about the Haptic Touch feature, it will get support in WhatsApp chats and media. This feature will be given in the next official version of WhatsApp. This will be 2.20.10 version of WhatsApp.

Under dark mode, users will also be given an option low data mode. That is, if your smartphone is also on battery saver mode then WhatsApp will automatically go to dark mode. It is worth noting that dark mode is also used as a battery saver. There have been reports of getting dark mode on WhatsApp for quite some time, but till now it has not been given in the final version.
