TVS Motor Company will Manufacturing Plant in West Java

TVS Motor Company will resume operations at its Indonesian manufacturing plant in West Java from today. Last week, TVS announced that it would focus on employee safety to prevent a coronovirus epidemic, as well as asking them to stop traveling and work from home. All domestic and international travel for TVS employees has been suspended and external meetings have been suspended indefinitely.

The plant is run by TVS Motor Company Indonesia, subsidiary of TVS Motor Company. The announcement was made through a regulatory filing made by TVS to the National Stock Exchange. All employees working outside the corporate office to work from home until further notice. The plant of TVS Motor Company Indonesia is located in, West Java.

TVS has already established an emergency contact number for all employees and dedicated resources are available 24/7 to handle coronavirus related queries. TVS's plant is closed during the time as the government has announced a 21-day lockdown across the country. Apart from this, companies like Hero Motocorp, Suzuki, Honda T-Wheelers and Java have also announced closure of their plants till further orders of the government.
