Recently, users have been advised to scan their smart TVs with a tweet from the Samsung US Support Account. Samsung tweeted that users should continue to scan their TVs at a fixed interval.

The tweet said, "It is important to scan malware or virus for your computer to run smoothly. It is also important for QLED TVs. If your TV is connected to WiFi, then scan your TV in a few weeks to protect it from malware or virus attack. If you use smart TVs, keep in mind that there will be no virus attack on it. Let's know how you can save your TV.

Essential steps for Samsung Smart TV

Turn on Samsung Smart TV and go to Settings option

Go to the General Settings section and click on System Manager.

Now click on the option of Smart Security and tap on the scan button, the process of scanning the TV will start.

Scan your TV that works on other Android operating systems

Most smart TVs work on Google's official Android TV operating system or on a basic operating system. At the moment no app has been designed to work on Android TV, so users must download and install an antivirus app apk file.

Download the antivirus app from a trusted source.

Transfer it to TV using thump drive and install it.

Once installed, run the app and scan the TV.
