Shivam Verma

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Inc, said on Tuesday that the electric-car manufacturer would have its second artificial intelligence day on August 19, with the business likely to expand on efforts to fine-tune its self-driving technology.

"The goal of AI Day is to persuade top AI/software/chip talent to join Tesla," the billionaire stated in a tweet.

The use of artificial intelligence in self-driving cars has sparked controversy about safety concerns, although Musk has frequently said that such vehicles are significantly safer than those controlled by people.

Tesla is Developing Software that will Let its Vehicles Drive Autonomously

Tesla is developing software that will let its vehicles drive autonomously without human intervention or oversight, but its full self-driving (FSD) system presently requires human monitoring and is not meant to perform without a person behind the wheel.

The business conducted its inaugural AI day in August of last year and will have a Battery Day in September 2020 to discuss the future of battery technology.

"Tesla AI Day #2 is scheduled for August 19." "So many exciting updates!" Musk wrote in a tweet.

Investors and analysts pay special attention to tech-focused events where corporations delve further into their initiatives and generally offer solid updates on objectives and rollout deadlines.

Tesla Maintains Electric Vehicle Sales in India Despite Tax Impasse

Tesla has relocated its electric vehicle sales to India, halted its quest for dealership space, and rehired some of its local team members after failing to achieve reduced import duties.

The decision comes after more than a year of wrangling with government officials as Tesla attempted to gauge demand by selling electric vehicles (EVs) imported from production centers in the United States and China at lower taxes.
