Suzuki's New Sports Bike 'Katana' Launched in India, Will Get Many Advanced Features

Suzuki Katana Launched in India: Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the 2022 Katana sports bike in the country with an ex-showroom price of Rs 13.61 lakh.

The name of this bike is derived from the Japanese word 'Katana' which means sword. The company has given a 999 cc engine with this bike. Apart from this, Suzuki's Intelligent Ride System is also found here which comes with a variety of modern electronic control system.

The company says that after showcasing the bike at the last Auto Expo, many motorcycle enthusiasts have inquired about it.

The 2022 model of this motorcycle was introduced at the EICMA held in Milan last year. The bike has been introduced in India in two colours - Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Metallic Mystic Silver.

The bike has been given three riding modes which change its mood for different routes.

Suzuki India has given the Suzuki GSX-S1000F a 999 cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder DOHC K5 engine with the new 2022 Katana.

This is a very powerful engine that generates 150 Bhp power at 11000 rpm and 106 Nm of peak torque at 9250 rpm.

This neo-retro design bike is very beautiful to look at and its sporty style will attract a lot of bike lovers. Apart from this, it has been prepared according to daily use.

Speaking on the bike launch, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India said, “We are very proud to launch the new Suzuki Katana in India. This launch is another step in the path of widening our big bike portfolio in India.

Many customers have shown interest for this motorcycle and we believe that a lot of customers will make this bike their ride.”
