Xiaomi has recently launched the flagship smartphone of the Redmi series in India. After the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro, is the company now ready to launch a 64-megapixel camera?

Xiaomi's All Brand Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing has posted a post on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. This post says that Redmi will soon launch 64-megapixel camera smartphones.

Xiaomi India Head and Global Vice President Manu Kumar Jain also posted a camera sample which was taken from Redmi's 64-megapixel camera. At the moment it is not clear what this smartphone will be. But if the company recently launched Redmi's flagship then it is possible that it would be less costly.

Redmi K20, K20 Pro has been launched. Hence, it is expected that the company will launch Redmi Note 8 Pro with a 64-megapixel camera sensor. Because with the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the company gave 48-megapixel camera sensors. Therefore, there will be no surprise if the 64-megapixel sensor is available in Redmi Note 8 Pro.

Redmi Note 7 series has been quite popular in China and other markets including India. So the company does not want to compromise with the smartphone of this series. Recently, Xiaomi launched Mi A3, which is Android One based. When this smartphone will launch in India, it is still not clear. But it is believed that the company can announce it soon.
