Price of this Mahindra Car Reduced by Rs 80,000

After the change in GST rates on electric vehicles by the government, the automobile companies have begun to pay the price of their Electric vehicles so that customers get the benefit of cut in GST rate. Along with Tata Tigor and Hyundai Kona, Mahindra & Mahindra also reduced the price of its battery powered e-Verito by 80 thousand rupees.

The company has taken this decision to extend the benefit of reduction in Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate on e-vehicles to customers. After the reduction in GST rates, the Mahindra e-Verito price has gone up to Rs. 10.71 lakhs. Along with this, Mahindra has also cut the price of electric tricycle trio, its price has come down by 20 thousand rupees. After which its on-road price will be 2.05 lakh rupees.

Ampere Vehicles, a subsidiary of engineering company Greaves Cotton, has cut the price of e-scooters by Rs 3,000-5,000 per unit. Let me tell you that in the GST Council meeting last week, it was decided to reduce the GST rate on electric vehicles from 12 percent to 5 percent. Apart from this, it was decided to reduce the GST rate on e-vehicle charger from 18 per cent to five per cent.

Explain that Tata Motors has cut the cost of its electric compact sedan Tiger EV to 80 thousand rupees. After that, the price of a car without TCS reaches between Rs 9.96 lakh and Rs 10.30 lakh, which was earlier between Rs 11.58 lakh and Rs 11.92 lakh. Let us tell you that Tata Tiger is still not available for public transport.

At the same time, Hyundai has also appreciated the prices of its newly launched electric SUV corner. The price of the Hyundai Kona has been reduced by Rs 1.59 lakh, after which the car has been priced at Rs 23.71 lakh. Let us say that this car, which was launched a month ago has received 130 offers so far. The company has made it clear that those who booked the car will also get the benefit of this deduction.
