Vodafone is offering double data benefit for a limited time in select prepaid plans. Reliance Jio has made only one negative step in the prepaid segment for customers since its entry and that is the recently introduced IUC Top Up Vouchers.

After this move of Jio, the way has been opened for Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea to move ahead of Jio, as these telecom companies are not taking additional charges from customers for making calls in other networks. Now double data benefits are being given by Vodafone in popular prepaid plans of Rs 199 and Rs 399.

Vodafone has released its teaser by writing 'Unlimited Means Unlimited with Now Double Data'. That is, Vodafone has written it trolling Jio. According to the report of TelecomTalk, no such offer has been offered by Idea at the moment and Vodafone's offer is limited to only Rs 199 and Rs 399 plan.

Under the double data offer, 84GB of data is being given by Vodafone in an entry level prepaid plan of Rs 199. Vodafone's Rs 199 prepaid plan used to offer unlimited voice calling, 100SMS daily and 1.5GB data daily. However, from now on this plan, 3GB data will be given daily during the validity of 28 days. That means customers will get the benefit of 84GB of data.

On the other hand, in Vodafone's Rs 399 prepaid plan, 1GB data was given daily for 84 days. However, from now on during this period, customers will be given 2GB data daily in this plan. This means that customers will get a total of 168GB data in this plan. In addition, unlimited voice calling and 100SMS per day is also given in the plan of Rs 399.

Fee access to Vodafone Play content is also given in both of these prepaid plans of Vodafone. This access is given on both the mobile app and the mobile website. That is, in the plan of Rs 399, customers will get 84GB of data during a period of 84 days. Keep in mind that this offer of Vodafone has been offered for a limited time. At present, customers can avail this offer for Andhra-Pradesh and Telangana, Chennai, Karnataka, Kerala and Mumbai circles.
