Kia Motors is introducing the production version of its first product i.e. Kia SP2i concept in India. It will be presented in Delhi during an event on 20th June. The special thing is that it will also be the SUV world premiere. The Korean farm recently released its sketch, so that it can also be judged by its look.

The front look of the Kia SUV is quite aggressive. Also, the bumper with Big Tiger Nozz Grill looks aggravated. The special thing is that heavy 3D detection can be seen on the headlamp. It is being speculated that the production version of SP will be named Kia Tusker and will be made on the platform taken from Hyundai Creta.

In addition, this upcoming SUV will also get new gearbox options. There will be a new BS-VI compliant 1.5-liter diesel motor, which will generate a pickup torque of 115PS and 250 Nm. This will replace the Creta's 1.6-liter diesel unit. Also, the 1.5-liter petrol unit will also be available here. Hopefully, this will also support Hybrid powertrain by 2023.

Speaking of the features, Kia SP2i will find features such as a large touchscreen encoding system, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, head-up display (HUD) and ambient lighting and fully digital instrument console. The design of the new Kia Compact SUV is inspired by Creta, although it will be replaced at the premium end of the compact SUV segment, and the competition will be with cars like MG Hector and Jeep Compass, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur recently introduced.

Kia will hope that their products get the same reaction in the Indian market as the sister company Hyundai has been getting from the last 20 years. Kia Kars will be prepared in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur plant.
