At present, Netflix offers three plans in India, out of which basic plan starts from Rs 500 per month. The second plan is of Rs 650 rupees per month, while the third plan is a little premium and for this, customers are charged Rs 800 per month. With the offer of 250 rupees plan, the company is looking to add more users to the platform in India.

According to the Economic Times report, Netflix is ​​testing among the Indian customers with a plan of 250 rupees and the subscribers will be able to watch the SD content in only one screen. That is, the price of this new plan is half straight in comparison to the initial plan.

However, despite this cheap plan, Netflix's plan will still be costlier than other digital content platforms. As a matter of fact, the monthly plan of the Hotsatr starts at Rs 199, and in the same way, the initial price of Amazon Prime is 129 rupees per month. It is also worth noting that there are many more benefits, including the Prime membership for shopping with Amazon Prime.

Likewise, a customer is charged Rs. 99 for Zee5 and the cost of subscription for ALTBalaji is 100 rupees. At present, no information has been received about how long this plan will be launched in India. Even after the launch, the plan of 250 rupees will be available only for mobile. Let us tell you that existing plans is for both, mobile and desktop. The company has also said in its statement that it is also possible that these plans will never be made available after the testing.
