Nowadays demand for digital content platforms in India is increasing rapidly. The reason is that since the arrival of Jio, the data has been cheaper and in India, the video content is being increasingly conjugated. At present, there are many digital content platforms in the Indian market including Amazon Prime, Zee5, Hotstar, ALTBalaji and Netflix. Of this, the most expensive plan has so far been of Netflix. Whereas, Amazon Prime's year-long plan costs Rs 999, Netflix's initial plan price of one month was 500 rupees. But now Netflix has launched the world's cheapest 250 rupees plan in India. Along with this, the company has also launched a plan for one week, with an initial price of Rs 65.

There are continuous discussions in India regarding the series and content of Netflix. But its plans were very expensive in the country. In this way more and more people were not able to see the contents of the Netflix platform. But Netflix has now launched a 250-month monthly plan while addressing some of the problems of the people. But these plans have been introduced only for a mobile/tablet. This plan has been made available on the company's website. Although no official announcement has been made for this from the company, the plan can be bought. We also bought this plan for testing.

On the other hand, talk of Weekly Plans, the starting price is 65 rupees. However, it can only be viewed on mobile. Apart from this, the price of the weekly Basic Plan is Rs 125, Standard 165 and Premium Weekly Plan is priced at Rs 200. Only one screen will be available in the mobile and basic plan, while users will be able to share 2 and 4 screens respectively in standard and premium plans.

A few days back the report was revealed that Netflix was planning to make plans affordable for developing countries like India. Then the information emerged about this plan of 250 rupees. However, the company then said that it has been made available only to some people for testing. It is possible that it cannot be marketed. It can be assumed that the company has launched a cheap plan of 250 rupees to compete with other companies like Amazon Prime.

So far, the company had monthly plans of Rs 500, Rs 650 and 800 rupees. Now the name of the 250-rupee mobile plan has also been added. Talk about a new monthly plan of 250 rupees, then users can enjoy only 1 screen. Also, it can be used only in mobile or tablet. Apart from this, customers will not be able to enjoy HD or UHD resolution, meaning that only users will be able to view SD content.

Comparing Netflix's plans to other companies' plans, Netflix plans are still expensive in the market after launching a monthly plan of Rs 250. For example, Hotstar's Monthly Plan is of Rs 199, Amazon Prime's Monthly Plan is of Rs.129, ZEE5's Monthly Plan is of Rs.99 and 3 months subscription of ALTBalaji is available in 100 rupees. It is also worth noting that Amazon Prime offers many more benefits including Early Shopping, Free Delivery and Amazon Music.
