MG Hector Confirms its New SUV Launch, will Compete with Many Veteran Cars

MG Motor is ready to launch its first product in India. We are talking about the SUV of MG Motor. From the features of MG Hector, the company has already taken the curtain, now its prices will be disclosed on June 27, 2019. MG Motor India is teasing this car since May and since the beginning of this month, the company has started taking Hector's booking. The company has started the test drive of this car at dealer level last week.

In Hector you will find a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine with a capacity of 143 horse power, a 2.0-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 170 horsepower or a 48 volt mild hybrid variant of 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine. The company claims that this variant will give 12 percent more mileage than standard petrol engine.

In petrol variants, you will get the option of 6 speed unit manual or 6 speed unit dual clutch automating gearbox. While in the diesel variants, you will only see a manual transmission of 6 speed units. According to the report of Autocar, MG dealers are getting more booking for petrol hybrid variants.

Whereas the diesel variant is second in terms of demand. Petrol automatic variants are also getting good bookings. This car is getting better response in Delhi and Mumbai. In Hector, you will find many First In Segment features. The car comes with a 10.4 inch portrait touchscreen memo system, in which you get various connectivity technologies. This car will be directly contested in India from Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV 500, Hyundai Kreta, Jeep Compass and Kia Celtsos.
