MG Hector: 10 Thousand Booking to MG Hector in Just 23 Days

After a long wait, MG Motor has turned its attention towards India and has launched its first car strong SUV Hector in India. The company has launched this car at an initial price of 12.18 lakh at the ex-showroom price. These cars come with petrol, petrol milled hybrid, diesel engine variants. In the car, the option of manual transmissions, DCT automatic gearbox is available.

Vehicle manufacturer has announced that Hector has received more than 10 thousand bookings in just 23 days. The company started pre-booking for this car on June 4 last month. The most important thing is that in this segment, the petrol variant of SUV has been sold for more than 50 percent of the bookings.

MG Motor has officially confirmed that people prefer petrol variants more than diesel. This is happening not only in Delhi NCR but in other parts of the country. The company said that 70 percent bookings from 50 percent bookings are for DTC automatic variants. At the same time, the car's hybrid variant has also received 15 percent bookings.

Hector comes in four variants – Style, Super, Smart and Sharpe. Top trim ie Sharp variants include LED headlamps, DRL, dual tone alloy wheels, 10.4 inch touch screen encoding system, Android Apple Smarfan compatibility, I smart connectivity suit, leather seat cover, panoramic sunroof, powered drive and driver seat and many others. The top two variants of the 75% prebooking car have been found. Although customers have to wait for the car right now. Rajiv Chaba, managing director of MG Motor India said, "In the next two to three months, we will be able to produce 2,000 units of the car every month." Waiting period for the automatic variant of the car is 4 months. While waiting for manual variants is going on for a month. The company has said that the delivery of the car will start from the first week of July.
