The customer whose luck will be most kind, he can get a diamond-studded Mercedes-Benz S Class car worth Rs 5 crore free during the ongoing India Diamond Week in Mumbai. This car has a Swarovski Cubic Zirconia Diamond worth Rs 3.5 lakh.

This luxury sedan car, which was awarded in prize, was unveiled on Monday during the Diamond Exhibition. Some condition of shopping has been fixed for who will get the car.

The third edition of the diamond exhibition 'Bharat Diamond Week' is being held in Mumbai from 14 to 16 October. It is being organized at the Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) complex at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. In this, more than 60 Indian diamond traders are showcasing their polished diamonds for international buyers.

It is one of the largest diamond centers in the world, from which 90 percent of the world's diamond exports go. This time, customers from more than 35 countries are expected to join it.

Significantly, due to the economic downturn, the diamond business is also running in trouble. In the last six months, the supply of diamonds has come down by 30 to 40 percent. BDB is trying to increase this business. Business is expected to improve from January 2020 when the Chinese New Year begins.

What to do to win a Car

To win a car worth Rs 5 crore, a customer has to buy diamonds worth at least 10 times his price, that is, he has to buy polished diamonds worth Rs 50 crore. Ashok Gajera, managing director of Laxmi Diamond Company, told The Hindu newspaper, 'This car will be available to any international customer who will buy diamonds worth at least Rs 50 crore. If no such customer is found, then the car will be auctioned later and the proceeds from it will be donated to the CM Relief Fund of Maharashtra.
