Honda Launches a New Automatic Variant of Amaze; Starting Price is Rs. 8.56 Lakh

Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has added a new VX CVT variant to the Amaze sedan. The company has set its initial price of Rs 8.56 lakh (ex-showroom). This price is of petrol variants. The first CVT (automatic variant) was only given in Amaze's S and V variants. The VX automatic trim is placed in the middle of these variants and is only available in both petrol and diesel.

Honda Amaze Diesel VX CVT has been priced at Rs 9.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The features provided in the VX CVT trim include Turn-by-turn navigation with 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, Android Auto and Apple carplay connectivity, steering mounted voice control switch and rear camera.

The new Honda Amaze was launched in India in May 2018. The new Amaze offers a four-cylinder 1.2-liter petrol engine, which generates 90PS power and 110Nm pickup torque. Whereas, its diesel variant has a four-cylinder 1.5-liter diesel engine, which generates pickup torque of 100PS and 200Nm.

In terms of safety, the new Amaze offers standard passenger seat belt reminder and high-speed alarm. In addition, there are standard features such as rear parking sensor, ABS, dual airbags, Isofix child seat anchorage and impact sensing door lock. Since its launch in May 2018, 85,000 units of this car have been sold in 11 months.
