Do not Open MP4 Files from Unknown Numbers on WhatsApp, Data can be Hacked

New Delhi: If you are a WhatsApp user, then this news is very useful for you. It is possible that your account can be targeted by hackers, because, these days hackers have devised a new way to hack the phone. And it comes in your inbox as MP4 file. Hackers send MP4 video files to users' WhatsApp numbers. After which they call and asks you to download. As soon as the download is done, the hackers get possession of the mobile data and steal all the necessary information of the phone.

Apart from this, any App downloading advise, sometimes by saying that of downloading the video. Hackers keep trying day and night to steal the data of users.

According to the information, hackers are using this type on both Android and iOS platforms. This MP4 file is specially designed for cyber attack.

Facebook has issued an advisory about hacking in which it has been said, "Hackers are trying to hack the phone by sending specially designed MP4 files for WhatsApp users."

The government is also very worried about the hackers. The Modi government has given a stern warning about hacking. At the same time, WhatsApp issued a statement saying that "We agree with the strong statement of the Government of India about the need to protect the privacy of all Indian citizens."
