UP: Death of 55 Cows in Amroha Causes Stir in Administration

Death of 55 Cows: At a cowshed in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, 55 cows have died due to consuming poisonous fodder while many cows are ill.

The death of such a large number of cows has stirred the administration. Amroha District Magistrate says that the fodder for the cows was bought from a person named Tahir.

An FIR has been registered against Tahir. Teams are raiding to nab him.

The Village Development Officer (VDO) has been suspended for this incident. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has tweeted about the death of cows.

The CM said that Additional Chief Secretary Livestock, Director Livestock and Moradabad Divisional Commissioner have been asked to investigate the incident and submit a report.

Instructions have also been issued to make proper arrangements for the treatment of sick cows.

The Chief Minister said that whoever is responsible for this incident will not be spared.

Death of 55 Cows: Condition of many cows critical

Due to the consumption of toxic fodder, the condition of many cows remains critical and is undergoing treatment.

There is a possibility of mixing toxic substances into fodder. This incident is from the Gaushala of Santhalpur.

It is being told that a total of 188 animals are registered in this cowshed. On Wednesday, the workers working in the cowshed had bought fodder from the fodder vendor Tahir.
