SSC Paper Leak Case: On Thursday i.e. April 6, a magistrate court in Warangal granted bail to Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the president of Telangana's BJP, in the SSC question paper leak case.

To secure his release, he must provide a surety of Rs 20,000. As a condition of his bail, Bandi Sanjay Kumar must not exit the country, must assist in the investigation, and must refrain from intimidating any witnesses.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, police picked up Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the Lok Sabha MP from Karimnagar constituency, from his home in Karimnagar city and placed him under preventive arrest.

Subsequently, he was identified as the main suspect and arrested by the city police in connection with the secondary school exam paper leak case.

The police stated that Bandi Sanjay Kumar, along with other suspects, plotted to spread rumours and incite violence during the ongoing SSC public examination after two question paper images were circulated on social media. Their goal was to defame the government.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the BJP leader accused in the SSC paper leak case, was sent to judicial custody till April 19 on April 5.

On the following day, the Telangana High Court refused to cancel his remand and instructed his legal team to request bail from the magistrate court.

Recently, the magistrate court granted him conditional bail, and the Karimnagar MP is expected to be released from prison today.
