When Sudhir Suri was murdered, he along with his comrades was protesting outside Gopal Mandir. An ACP rank officer and two SHOs were also present on the spot to persuade him.

The SIT is also probing the action taken by these officers at the time of the incident.

Accused Sandeep's remand ends today

Sandeep Singh Ramgarhia, who was arrested after the incident, was sent on a seven-day remand by the court, which is ending today.

The police can present Sandeep in court any time after noon. The police will now demand to get 10 days more remand in this case.

The forensic report of mobile and other electronic gadgets is yet to come to the police, based on which the police will demand further remand.
