Hindu leader Sudhir Suri has been shot dead in Amritsar, Punjab. Suri was the leader of Shiv Sena. At the time of the incident, he was protesting outside Gopal Mandir against the desecration of idols. His supporters were also present with him.

Suri was admitted to a private hospital in an injured condition where doctors declared him dead. Sudhir Suri was the target of Khalistan supporters.

Some time back also the conspiracy to kill him was exposed which was made by Khalistan supporters sitting abroad.

According to the information received, Sudhir Suri was protesting outside the Gopal Mandir against the idols of Gods being found in the garbage.

During this, in the afternoon, unknown youths came and opened fire on them. It is not yet clear whether the bullet was fired from the roof or was fired directly.

In retaliation, his security personnel also opened fire in the air.

4 gangsters were arrested last month

In Punjab, STF and Amritsar Police arrested 4 gangsters last month in a joint operation on 23 October. The arrested gangsters were henchmen of Rinda and Linda.

The arrested gangsters were planning an attack on Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri. For this, he had also done Reiki. Before they could carry out the crime, the police and STF caught the four.

The accused had also confessed that the attack on Suri was to be done before Diwali. A major incident in Punjab was averted due to the arrest of these gangsters.
