Another setback for the Uddhav Thackeray faction in Maharashtra. After the MLAs, now the MPs are also seen going towards Shinde.
After the presidential election, now 14 MPs have spoken of supporting the Shinde Group.
Now Shinde and Fadnavis will go to Delhi tonight with 12 Shiv Sena MPs. They will meet Amit Shah and PM Modi here and will hold a press conference tomorrow.
Earlier today Shiv Sena of the Shinde faction held a big meeting in Maharashtra and took many decisions in it.
This meeting of the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena took place today Monday. In this the existing executive was dissolved, a new national executive was announced and Eknath Shinde was elected as the new leader of Shiv Sena.
However, the post of Shiv Sena party chief which is with Uddhav Thackeray has neither been dissolved nor has any new announcement been made regarding it.
Shinde faction has made MLA Deepak Kesarkar the spokesperson of Shiv Sena. Ramdas Kadam, Anandrao Adsul have been elected leaders.
While Yashwant Jadhav, Gulabrao Patil, Uday Samant, Sharad Ponkshe, Tanaji Sawant, Vijay Nahata, and Shivajirao Adhalarao Patil have been appointed as deputy leaders.
Let us tell you that after several days of upheaval, Shiv Sena was finally divided into two factions. More than 30 MLAs had opposed Uddhav Thackeray by supporting Eknath Shinde.
Then these rebel MLAs decided to form the government with the help of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray resigned from the post of CM before the floor test.
Later the Shinde faction formed the government with the BJP. In this, Eknath Shinde was elected as the CM of Maharashtra and Devendra Fadnavis was elected as the Deputy CM.
At present, the division of the ministry has not taken place.
