A case has been registered against Bageshwar Dham chief Pandit Dhirendra Shastri's brother Saurabh Garg alias Shaligram Garg under the SC-ST Act.

Saurabh Garg is accused of entering a wedding ceremony and threatening a Dalit family at gunpoint, hurling casteist abuses and even assaulting them.

It is said that this video is from Gadha village of Chhatarpur district. Shaligram Garg reached here at a wedding ceremony of a Dalit's daughter.

Here he had an altercation with some person, after which he started threatening by taking out a pistol. People say that during this time he was drunk.

Shaligram Garg also abused the people who came to intervene during the incident. He also threatened the wedding processions, due to which a case has been registered against him under other sections including the SC-ST Act.
