Republic Day: Delhi government build 115-foot-high tricolor at 75 locations

On the occasion of Republic Day, the Delhi government will raise a 115-foot-high national flag at 75 locations across the city on Thursday. Satyendar Jain, the Delhi Government's PWD Minister, announced the news on Twitter on Tuesday. "This measure would help instill a sense of patriotism and pride among the residents of the country," he said in this regard.

Patriotism budget was raised by the Delhi government

The Delhi government has suggested installing National Dwaj at 500 locations throughout the city under its budget for 2021-22. The tricolor was also raised earlier that day, on August 15. On the 27th of January, 75 flags will be planted. The Delhi administration had planned to raise 35-meter-high flags for this purpose. The Delhi government has set aside Rs 45 crore in the Desh Bhakti budget for this purpose. It was later changed to Rs.84 crore. Officials in Delhi say the cost is now expected to be Rs 104.4 crore.

Tricolor will be placed in these notable locations

The Delhi Public Works Department has identified 611 locations for Tiranog's construction. Here will be installed schools, government offices, bus terminals, hospitals, parks, courts, and local MLAs.
