Delhi amidst the Fear of Third Wave of Coronavirus, says Kejriwal

The new variant of the corona virus, Omicron, has increased the concern of countries around the world including India. Omicron cases are increasing in India. This variant has also knocked in the national capital Delhi. Meanwhile, the same question is arising in the minds of people again and again whether the lockdown will be imposed again. On this, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has answered some of question arising.

'No need for lockdown at the moment'

Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that there is no possibility of lockdown in Delhi at the moment. He said that if the cases of corona increase, the government will implement its special plan, the first phase of which will start when five out of one thousand people are infected. At the same time, if the rate of second phase infection is one percent, it will mean that ten people out of one thousand get infected. Jain said that at present the infection rate in Delhi is very low, so there is no need for lockdown.

'Omicron spreading rapidly'

Describing Omicron, Satyendra Jain said that this variant spreads very fast. In such a situation, there is a need to be very cautious. Jain has appealed to the people to wear masks and strictly follow other corona rules. Apart from this, Satyendra Jain said that those who have not administered the second dose of the vaccine, get it done as soon as possible and also to follow all the norms.

'Turn off foreign flights for a few days'

Satyendar Jain told that CM Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to the Central Government to stop the flights coming from countries affected by Omicron variants for some time. He said that Delhi receives maximum number of flights from abroad, in such a situation the danger increases.

'Ready to deal with Omicron'

At the same time, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has assured the people that there is no need to panic with the new variant of Corona, Omicron. Kejriwal said that the Delhi government is ready to deal with every situation. In view of Omicron, the Kejriwal government has made elaborate arrangements for oxygen beds, medicines and other essential things.
