Bhagalpur Blast Case: Death Toll Reaches 16, 3 Dead Bodies not yet Identified

In the Bhagalpur blast case, on the third day on Saturday, a girl died in the course of treatment, while the death toll in the incident reached 16 after another body was recovered from the debris. Although the investigation, in this case, is going on. Here a ten-member team of ATS reached the spot on Saturday morning. After digging the site for about two hours, the team seized many items from the spot. Earlier on Friday night also, the team got many important information. Today i.e. on Sunday also, the team members will investigate the spot and surroundings.

Orders have been given to demolish 3 houses damaged in the blast

On the other hand, District Magistrate directed the demolition of three houses declared dilapidated based on the report submitted by the Building Construction Department in the matter. Here, SDRF, Disaster Management and Municipal Corporation team has started the process of demolition of 3 houses. However, there was talk of demolishing the house on Sunday morning. For this, the victim's family has urged the administration to make arrangements for their stay and food apart from demolishing the house.

Ayesha, who was badly injured in the incident, was undergoing treatment in Siliguri, where she died late Saturday evening. On the other hand, an unidentified mutilated body was recovered from thereafter the foul smell from the debris thrown in the bypass. With this, the fear has increased that there may be some more bodies in the debris removed in the night. No one has complete information about how many people were in that house.

According to the information, out of 16 people who died in the incident, the family members of Lilavati Devi and Mahendra Mandal have been made accused. Some injured are also included in this. Apart from this, Moazzamchak resident of Habibpur Chambeli Chak, who bought land from Lilavati Devi, has also been made accused.

On Saturday afternoon, District Magistrate Subrat Sen and SSP Babu Ram along with the police and administrative team reached the spot to inspect the incident. There, the people who were creating a ruckus at the spot were explained. Also directed to take legal action against those obstructing government work.
