Wimbledon Final 2019: Novak Djokovic Beats Roger Federer in Final to Win 5th Wimbledon Title

Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer played out one more epic final at The Championships with the world number one rising as the winner of Wimbledon 2019 on Sunday.

The jam-packed crowd at Center-Court was left panting for breath in each game as Djokovic outclassed Federer 7-6, 1-6, 7-6, 4-6, 13-12 out of a match which went on for more than four hours to secure his fifth Wimbledon title and his seventeenth Grand Slam title in the open period.

Federer was bidding for his record-broadening ninth title however was denied by the Serbian tennis pro in the five-set thriller.

In the first set, Federer was leading 5-3 in the tiebreaker after winning four straight points however missed forehands on every one of the following three points. He at that point sent a strike wide to hand world No. 1 Djokovic the first set. Federer had the only break purpose of the set at 2-1 however sent a forehand wide.

The 37-year-old bounced back after breaking Djokovic twice in the second set. He was driving 4-0 and broke Djokovic again at adoration in the final game, with the Serbian double-faulting on set point. Djokovic hit only two victors in the second set, contrasted with 14 in the first.

But Federer once again broke Djokovic twice in the fourth set to take a 5-2 lead but was broken for the first time in the match when serving for the set. However, he held at love on his second opportunity to clinch the set 6-4 and take the game into the fifth set.
