Will Say Goodbye to International Cricket after T20 World Cup: Mohammad Hafeez

Pakistan's all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has said on Friday that he will retire from international cricket after the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia this year. Hafeez has got a place in the Pakistan team for the T20 series against Bangladesh. The series will start in Lahore from 24 January. He said, "It is an honor for me. I want to play T20 World Cup and then I will say goodbye to International cricket."

Hafeez made his Pakistan debut in 2003. He has scored 3652 runs in 55 Test matches for his country and has taken 53 wickets. Hafeez has also played 218 ODIs from Pakistan. During this time, he has scored 6614 runs and took 139 wickets. Hafeez has been an important part of Pakistan's T20 team. He has also captained the Pakistan team. He said, "I played for Pakistan for 17 years and tried to give my best. Many times I missed my bowling." Hafeez's bowling action has been in constant controversy and he was also banned for bowling due to suspicious bowling action.
